Professional Bio: I attended The State University of New York at Geneseo and earned a B.A. in Anthropology and minored in Psychology and Spanish. I took several years off before going to graduate school and during that time, in 2002, I went to Shanghai, China to teach conversational English at a college and experimental high school there. After that, I went to graduate school at The State University of New York at Buffalo, where I earned an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology. Although I decided to specialize in Cultural Anthropology, I also have a passion for and interest in Archaeology as well. I began my professional career in social services in 2007 and have worked in children’s services and for non-profit agencies providing services to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. I currently work as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the State of New Jersey, verifying reported incidents for individuals with intellectual disabilities. I also worked for several years as an adjunct professor at a community college in New Jersey, where I gave lectures on topics in Anthropology and Sociology.

Personal Bio: I grew up in New Jersey and have lived here almost all of my life.  I enjoy spending time with my son who is almost 2 years old, traveling when I can, and reading.
